Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Cursive Script by Liang Yan was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The price achieved of HKD 80,240.00 (€ 9,104.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 68,000.00 – 88,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Yan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Thousand Character Classic In Running Script in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 377,600.00 (€ 38,875.02).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Cursive Script von Liang Yan kam im März 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 80.240,00 (€ 9.104,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 68.000,00 – 88.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Yan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Thousand Character Classic In Running Script im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 377.600,00 (€ 38.875,02).
