The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,030.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Yan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Thousand Character Classic In Running Script in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 377,600.00 (€ 38,875.02).
