Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Cursive Script von Liang Yan kam im März 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 8.165,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Yan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Thousand Character Classic In Running Script im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 377.600,00 (€ 38.875,02).
