Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Xingshu by Liang Shiqiu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,745.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Shiqiu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 52,063.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem In Xingshu von Liang Shiqiu kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.745,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Shiqiu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 52.063,44).
