Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem by Su Shi in Running Script by Liang Shiqiu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 13,860.00 (€ 1,660.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liang Shiqiu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 52,063.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem by Su Shi in Running Script von Liang Shiqiu kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 13.860,00 (€ 1.660,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liang Shiqiu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 52.063,44).
