The work Spring Gathering by the Creek by Liang Boyu was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 10,837.50 (€ 1,187.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Admittedly, works by Liang Boyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apricot Garden in Spring in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 86,250.00 (€ 8,879.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spring Gathering by the Creek von Liang Boyu kam im Juli 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 10.837,50 (€ 1.187,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Boyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apricot Garden in Spring im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 86.250,00 (€ 8.879,69).
