Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flower Arrangements at New Year by Liang Boyu was auctioned at Bonhams in Sidney in April last year. The price achieved of AUD 3,690.00 (€ 3,501.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liang Boyu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Apricot Garden in Spring, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 86,250.00 (€ 8,879.69).
