This artwork by Liang Boyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in February 2021. In the Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Plum Blossom And Sparrows sold for HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,664.76) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liang Boyu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Apricot Garden in Spring, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 86,250.00 (€ 8,879.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liang Boyu erzielte im Februar 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Plum Blossom And Sparrows für HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.664,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Liang Boyu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Apricot Garden in Spring beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 86.250,00 (€ 8.879,69) versteigert wurde.
