In April 2021 Bonhams in Sydney held the auction Asian Art, which included the work Peony and Bamboo by Liang Boyu. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 467.40 (€ 388.53), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liang Boyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Apricot Garden in Spring in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 86,250.00 (€ 8,879.69).

Im April 2021 führte Bonhams in Sydney die Auktion Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peony and Bamboo von Liang Boyu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 467,40 (€ 388,53) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liang Boyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Apricot Garden in Spring im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 86.250,00 (€ 8.879,69).
