Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scholar Walking in the Spring Landscape by Liang Boyu was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 17,500.00 (€ 1,975.18), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Liang Boyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apricot Garden in Spring in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 86,250.00 (€ 8,879.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scholar Walking in the Spring Landscape von Liang Boyu wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 17.500,00 (€ 1.975,18) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Boyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apricot Garden in Spring im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 86.250,00 (€ 8.879,69).
