Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Liang Boyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. In the Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Sailing sold for HKD 10,620.00 (€ 1,205.01) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Boyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apricot Garden in Spring in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 86,250.00 (€ 8,879.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liang Boyu erzielte im März 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Sailing für HKD 10.620,00 (€ 1.205,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Boyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apricot Garden in Spring im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 86.250,00 (€ 8.879,69).
