This artwork by Liang Boyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2017. In the The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 3 auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 14,160.00 (€ 1,616.88) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Boyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apricot Garden in Spring in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 86,250.00 (€ 8,879.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liang Boyu erzielte im Mai 2017 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 3 wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 14.160,00 (€ 1.616,88) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Boyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apricot Garden in Spring im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 86.250,00 (€ 8.879,69).
