Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hong Kong Scenery by Liang Boyu was sold in the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 17,700.00 (€ 1,948.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Boyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apricot Garden in Spring in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 86,250.00 (€ 8,879.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hong Kong Scenery von Liang Boyu wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 17.700,00 (€ 1.948,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Boyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apricot Garden in Spring im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 86.250,00 (€ 8.879,69).
