Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Beauty by Liang Boyu was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. The price achieved of HKD 9,440.00 (€ 1,150.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Boyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apricot Garden in Spring in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 86,250.00 (€ 8,879.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Beauty von Liang Boyu wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 9.440,00 (€ 1.150,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Boyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apricot Garden in Spring im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 86.250,00 (€ 8.879,69).
