In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Rock by Lian Liang. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 18,278.50), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Lian Liang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Rock Amidst Lotus Pond was auctioned for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 30,533.99).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rock von Lian Liang zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 18.278,50) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Lian Liang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit Rock Amidst Lotus Pond für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 30.533,99) versteigert.
