Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Bamboo, Birds and Rock by Lian Liang. The price achieved of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,781.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Other works by Lian Liang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Rock Amidst Lotus Pond was auctioned for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 30,533.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bamboo, Birds and Rock von Lian Liang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.781,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Lian Liang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit Rock Amidst Lotus Pond für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 30.533,99) versteigert.
