Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Liam Gillick could be acquired at Sothebys in London in March 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Doubled Reserve Platform changed hands for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,565.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Liam Gillick have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2015 by the work Resolution Platform at EUR 49,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liam Gillick konnte im März 2019 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wechselte die Arbeit Doubled Reserve Platform für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.565,91) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Liam Gillick wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2015 die Arbeit Resolution Platform mit EUR 49.600,00.
