Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Li Zhongsheng could be acquired at Christies in Taipei in October 2001 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART auction, this work without title changed hands for TWD 188,000.00 (€ 6,041.59) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of TWD 200,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Zhongsheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No. 31 in October 2001 with an auction result of TWD 6,237,500.00 (€ 200,448.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Zhongsheng konnte im Oktober 2001 bei Christies in Taipeh für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für TWD 188.000,00 (€ 6.041,59) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von TWD 200.000,00 – 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Zhongsheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No. 31 im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von TWD 6.237.500,00 (€ 200.448,96).
