Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract by Li Zhongsheng was sold in the 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART auction at Christies in Taipei in April 2001. The price achieved of TWD 446,500.00 (€ 15,245.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as TWD 400,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Zhongsheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No. 31 in October 2001 with an auction result of TWD 6,237,500.00 (€ 200,448.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstract von Li Zhongsheng wurde im April 2001 in der Auktion 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART bei Christies in Taipeh versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von TWD 446.500,00 (€ 15.245,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit TWD 400.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Zhongsheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No. 31 im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von TWD 6.237.500,00 (€ 200.448,96).
