This work without title by Li Zhongsheng was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2009. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 920,000.00 (€ 89,610.39), 31% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Zhongsheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work No. 31, which sold at auction in October 2001 for TWD 6,237,500.00 (€ 200,448.96).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Li Zhongsheng wurde im April 2009 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 920.000,00 (€ 89.610,39) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Zhongsheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit No. 31 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2001 für TWD 6.237.500,00 (€ 200.448,96) versteigert wurde.
