Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine And Eagle by Li Yu was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 11,108.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Li Yu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Album Of Flowers, Birds And Insects in April this year with an auction result of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13).

Die Arbeit Pine And Eagle von Li Yu kam im Oktober 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 11.108,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Yu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Album Of Flowers, Birds And Insects im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 108.000,00 (€ 110.289,13).
