A top price for Li Yu
In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Album Of Flowers, Birds And Insects by Li Yu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13), 35% above the upper estimate. With this result, Album Of Flowers, Birds And Insects is even the most expensive work of art by Li Yu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Album Of Flowers, Birds And Insects von Li Yu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 108.000,00 (€ 110.289,13) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Album Of Flowers, Birds And Insects sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Li Yu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
