Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Autoportrait Mauve No. 3 by Li Tianbing for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 39,247.11). This price was achieved in the auction BRIC at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 35,000.00 – 55,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Li Tianbing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Image Collective Devant La Porte in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 180,500.00 (€ 245,268.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Autoportrait Mauve No. 3 von Li Tianbing für GBP 34.850,00 (€ 39.247,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion BRIC bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 35.000,00 – 55.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Tianbing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Image Collective Devant La Porte im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 180.500,00 (€ 245.268,88).
