Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Li Shurui could be acquired at Christies in New York in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online auction, the work 20101005 changed hands for HKD 12,600.00 (€ 1,523.73) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Shurui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Polar Lights No. 10 in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 24,427.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Shurui konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online wechselte die Arbeit 20101005 für HKD 12.600,00 (€ 1.523,73) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Shurui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Polar Lights No. 10 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 24.427,19).
