In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition, which included the work 20091231 by Li Shurui. The result of HKD 15,000.00 (€ 1,638.82) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Shurui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Polar Lights No. 10 in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 24,427.19).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit 20091231 von Li Shurui zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 15.000,00 (€ 1.638,82) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Shurui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Polar Lights No. 10 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 24.427,19).
