The work Wedding (There are six differences in the two paintings) by Li Qing was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in February 2014. The auction ended at the price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 36,397.22), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Li Qing have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2014 the work Four Wax Works (There Are Six Differences In Two Paintings) was auctioned for HKD 590,000.00 (€ 54,873.83).
