The price achieved of HKD 590,000.00 (€ 54,873.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Four Wax Works (There Are Six Differences In Two Paintings) is the most expensive artwork by Li Qing that we have observed at auctions so far.
