Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Christies in Milan held the auction Thinking Italian Milan, which included the work Senza titolo (bozzetto per Grande Mutilazione) by Leoncillo. The price achieved of EUR 68,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leoncillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Mutilazione in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 969,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Thinking Italian Milan durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo (bozzetto per Grande Mutilazione) von Leoncillo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 68.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leoncillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande Mutilazione im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 969.000,00.
