Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2020 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art | Milan, which included the work Racconto Di Notte Ii by Leoncillo. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 260,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 275,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leoncillo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grande Mutilazione, which sold at auction in November 2018 for EUR 969,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan durch, in der auch die Arbeit Racconto Di Notte Ii von Leoncillo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 260.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 275.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Leoncillo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Grande Mutilazione beobachtet, die im November 2018 für EUR 969.000,00 versteigert wurde.
