Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sunny Worthing, Southern Electric, Southern Railways by Leonard Richmond was auctioned at Bonhams in February this year. It achieved a price of GBP 956.25 (€ 1,090.73), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonard Richmond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Near Le Puy, France in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 7,767.50 (€ 11,173.51).
