Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Leonard Richmond achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in April this year. In the Home & Interiors auction, the work London blitz sold for GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,179.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Admittedly, works by Leonard Richmond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Near Le Puy, France in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 7,767.50 (€ 11,173.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leonard Richmond erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Home & Interiors wurde die Arbeit London blitz für GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.179,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonard Richmond auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Near Le Puy, France im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.767,50 (€ 11.173,51).
