The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,887.53), 63% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon-Henri-Marie Frédéric achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Dentellière Flamande (The Flemish Lace Maker) in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 77,909.36).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.887,53) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léon-Henri-Marie Frédéric erzielen.
