Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2005 Christies in London held the auction THE COLLECTION OF S.A.R. LA PRINCIPESSA REALE DI SAVOIA, which included the work Landscape with a roadway and farm buildings; and A mountain landscape by Léon-Henri-Marie Frédéric. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 420.00 (€ 621.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon-Henri-Marie Frédéric achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Dentellière Flamande (The Flemish Lace Maker) in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 77,909.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion THE COLLECTION OF S.A.R.
