Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Artcurial held the auction Modern Art 2, which included the work Nature Morte A La Palette, 1946 by Léon Gischia. The price achieved of EUR 2,574.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Léon Gischia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,819.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Modern Art 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature Morte A La Palette, 1946 von Léon Gischia zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.574,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Léon Gischia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition beobachtet, die im September 2017 für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.819,86) versteigert wurde.
