Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Arbre, 1950 by Léon Gischia was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2010. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,913.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Léon Gischia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,819.86).

Die Arbeit L'Arbre, 1950 von Léon Gischia kam im März 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.913,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Léon Gischia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition beobachtet, die im September 2017 für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.819,86) versteigert wurde.
