Sold at the upper estimate price
This work without title by Léon Gischia was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in December 2021. The auction ended at the price of EUR 700.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Léon Gischia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,819.86).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Léon Gischia wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 700,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léon Gischia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.819,86).
