Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,658.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Léon Gischia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,819.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition, Nature Morte Aux Fruits, Circa 1960 von Léon Gischia wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.658,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Léon Gischia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition beobachtet, die im September 2017 für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.819,86) versteigert wurde.
