In October 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work A Russian Autumn by Leon Shulman Gaspard. The »bidding war« ended at USD 75,000.00 (€ 64,388.74), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leon Shulman Gaspard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Finish of the Kermesse in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 2,001,000.00 (€ 1,362,336.60).
