Andrew Bjurman auction, the work Mother and Child 5 3/4 x 4 1/4 in. framed 10 1/2 x 9 in. sold for USD 10,200.00 (€ 9,880.85) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leon Shulman Gaspard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Finish of the Kermesse in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 2,001,000.00 (€ 1,362,336.60).
