Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art II, which included the work Sans Titre - 1981 by León Ferrari. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by León Ferrari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grafismos, Flores Y Mariposas in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 225,000.00 (€ 201,811.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1981 von León Ferrari zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von León Ferrari erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grafismos, Flores Y Mariposas im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 201.811,82).
