This artwork by León Ferrari achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in December this year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Musica - 1962 sold for EUR 16,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by León Ferrari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grafismos, Flores Y Mariposas in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 225,000.00 (€ 201,811.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von León Ferrari erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Musica - 1962 für EUR 16.400,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von León Ferrari erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grafismos, Flores Y Mariposas im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 201.811,82).
