The work Gladiolen by Leo Gestel was sold in the Impressionistand Modern ArtEvening Sale auction at Christies in London in June 2008. It achieved a price of GBP 505,250.00 (€ 638,652.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. With this result, Gladiolen is even the most expensive work of art by Leo Gestel that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Gladiolen von Leo Gestel wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion Impressionistand Modern ArtEvening Sale bei Christies in London versteigert.
