Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 6, from From Port by Lee Ufan was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in July this year. The price achieved of USD 2,520.00 (€ 2,286.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lee Ufan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work From Line, No. 760219 in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,165,000.00 (€ 1,740,633.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 6, from From Port von Lee Ufan wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Edition bei Christies versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.520,00 (€ 2.286,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lee Ufan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit From Line, No. 760219 im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.165.000,00 (€ 1.740.633,54).
