In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California auction, the work Untitled, 1964 sold for USD 9,562.50 (€ 8,259.91) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lee Mullican have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bright Path, 1967 in September last year with an auction result of USD 69,675.00 (€ 71,220.48).
