The work Charlie Chaplin with Chandelier, Paris, France, 1931 by Lee Miller was sold in the The Surrealist World of Rosalind Gersten Jacobs and Melvin Jacobs auction at Christies in New York in May last year. It achieved a price of USD 20,790.00 (€ 19,373.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lee Miller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nude in April 2021 with an auction result of USD 504,000.00 (€ 418,952.62).

Die Arbeit Charlie Chaplin with Chandelier, Paris, France, 1931 von Lee Miller wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Surrealist World of Rosalind Gersten Jacobs and Melvin Jacobs bei Christies in New York versteigert.
