Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, from The New York Collection for Stockholm by Lee Bontecou was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in December 2020. The price achieved of USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,251.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lee Bontecou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May this year with an auction result of USD 8,690,000.00 (€ 8,156,560.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled, from The New York Collection for Stockholm von Lee Bontecou kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion.
