Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The new born by Eduardo León Garrido was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2010. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,585.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduardo León Garrido achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La farandole in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 59,856.34).
