Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish tea Time by Eduardo León Garrido was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,230.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Eduardo León Garrido have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La farandole in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 59,856.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spanish tea Time von Eduardo León Garrido kam im Mai 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.230,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduardo León Garrido auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La farandole im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 59.856,34).
