Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work An Admirer by Eduardo León Garrido for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,205.74). This price was achieved in the auction European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Eduardo León Garrido have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La farandole in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 59,856.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit An Admirer von Eduardo León Garrido für USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.205,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduardo León Garrido auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La farandole im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 59.856,34).
