Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cadres Dores by Leandro Erlich was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in April 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,740.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leandro Erlich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Window and Ladder- Too Late for Help, which sold at auction in November 2011 for USD 92,500.00 (€ 68,757.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cadres Dores von Leandro Erlich wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.740,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Leandro Erlich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Window and Ladder- Too Late for Help beobachtet, die im November 2011 für USD 92.500,00 (€ 68.757,90) versteigert wurde.
